December 2022 Wrap Up and Goodreads 2022 Year in Books

Image
Hi Lovelies! I read 9 books last month. They are mostly contemporary books. I've read one self-help book, which is The Happiness Project and I read it throughout the year since the chapters divided into months. I am not going to lie but I didn't get to practice and follow the book. I also read Bad Days in History daily. It became a routine for me to read it before I start my day or before I go to bed.  I wasn't able to read during the last week of the month since I was on vacation in Hong Kong. But before the trip, I read 2 books from the Honeywood series. It's a series that is set in an amusement park and since I'll be going back to Disneyland again. I tried to contain my excitement by reading. I did enjoy the book. I like the concept but the romance part was lacking for me. I couldn't feel the connection between the couples.  Overall, 2022 was a good reading year for me. I definitely crushed my reading goal of 50 books by reading 110 books.  Here are links to ...

October 2022 Wrap Up

Image
Hi Lovelies,  I read 10 books this month and I am halfway through my 11th book, Fall of Snow by Montana Fyre, which I am sure I am going to finish before the month is over. I had a Catharina Maura phase this month. Her books are amazing if you are looking for romance and smut books that are trope heavy. I cannot wait for the next book of the Wrong Bride.  I also read my longest book for this year, which is the Count of Monte Cristo. I was actually surprise because it a fast paced book and I find myself reading 200-300 pages a day. But my favorite book that I read this month would have to go to After I Do by Taylor Jenkins Reid.  What is your favorite read this month?  Please tell me below. February 2021 Wrap

Image
Another month is over therefore another wrap up. I read 8 books last month, which is not bad but I was not able to accomplish my goal of reading 10 books. Nonetheless I was still able to read 8 books. Overall, I read 2 classic books, 1 textbook for school, and 2 books from my list of books that I want to read in 2021. So here are the books that I read:  1. A Touch of Ruin (Hades and Persephone) by Scarlett St. Clair Persephone’s relationship with Hades has gone public and the resulting media storm disrupts her normal life and threatens to expose her as the Goddess of Spring. Hades, God of the Dead, is burdened by a hellish past that everyone’s eager to expose in an effort to warn Persephone away. Things only get worse when a horrible tragedy leaves Persephone’s heart in ruin and Hades refusing to help. Desperate, she takes matters into her own hands, striking bargains with severe consequences. Faced with a side of Hades she never knew and crushing loss, Persephone wonders if she ca...

September 2019 Wrap Up

Image
Hi lovelies! I am actually proud of my wrap up for this month. I did a Birthday readathon this month and I was able to read a lot of my books that have been in my TBR pile for a while such as Kingdom of Ash and The President is Missing. My goal for this month is to read 10 books and I did read 10 books. I wanted to really a lot of books this month especially since school have started and looking at the syllabus of my class I won't be have the time to read as much as I want. So moving on here are the books that I read:  1. A Flair for Flip Flops by Deborah Garner  I received a copy of this book in exchanged for an honest review.  I had a hard time getting into the story because it was the 5th book of a series and I usually want to read book one first but once I read past 50 pages I got hooked into the story. It is a light read which is perfect for a summer read by the poolside. It is comparable to Nancy Drew since both characters both amateur detectives and their stor...

Birthday Readathon 2019

Image
This is my wrap up for my Birthday readathon, which I did last September 13-20, 2019. I decided to do this readathon because I have a lot of books on my TBR and I really want to read all of my books in my bookshelf before I buy more books. I think this is a good way for me to read a lot. It definitely helped me motivate myself into reading a lot this week. Also, I am going back to school so I wanted to read more before school starts because once I get back to school. I won't be able to read books as much as I want. So here is a weekly recap of my week.
