Halloween Book Recommendations

Image
Hi Lovelies,  These are 3 books that I recommend to get into the Halloween spirit. Goosebumps is my introduction to the horror genre. Welcome of the Dead House is one of my favorite book from the series. I remember staying up at night with a flashlight sneaking to finish the book. While I recommend Home Before Dark by Riley Sager if you enjoy the series The Haunting of Hill House. I didn't expect the twists and I devour the book in one night as I just couldn't put it down.   Finally, the list is not complete without the Master of Horror Literature, Edgar Allan Poe. My favorites are The Cask of Amontillado, The Pit and the Pendulum, and The Masque of the Red Death What are your Halloween book recommendations?  Please tell me below. 26th Birthday (Birthday Book Tag)

Image
Hi Lovelies! I turned 26 yesterday (September 9), which means I am too old to date Leonardo DiCaprio. Anyway  I am just reflecting how books are still relevant in my life and how important they are in my life. Both my older sister and mom were readers but they stopped reading and I am afraid that I would fall out of love with reading. But still reading is an important part of my day. It gives me the opportunity to escape my real life and problems.  Moving on, I  decided to do the Birthday Book Tag by The Bibliophile Girl's blog   1 – BIRTHDAY CAKE – a book with a plot that seems cliche but you adore it anyway 2 – PARTY GUESTS – your most anticipated book release this year 3 – BIRTHDAY PRESENTS – a book that surprised you with how much you loved it 4 – THE HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONG – a book that certainly deserved all the hype it got 5 – HAPPY MUSIC – a book with some very beautiful and truly memorable quotes 6 – GETTING OLDER – a book that you read a long time ago, bu...

15 Books That I Would Like To Read This 2021

Image
Hi Lovelies! I know it is a bit too late for this post but I wanted to share the books that I want to read this year. My goal is to read unread books that I have sitting on my shelves and I do have a lot those. During this pandemic, I realize how many books I have not read and I just feel guilty that I buy a lot of books while they are just sitting there. Anyway, here are 15 book that I want to read this 2021.  1.  These Violent Delights ( These Violent Delights ) #1 by Chloe Gong The year is 1926, and Shanghai hums to the tune of debauchery. A blood feud between two gangs runs the streets red, leaving the city helpless in the grip of chaos. At the heart of it all is eighteen-year-old Juliette Cai, a former flapper who has returned to assume her role as the proud heir of the Scarlet Gang—a network of criminals far above the law. Their only rivals in power are the White Flowers, who have fought the Scarlets for generations. And behind every move is their heir, Roma Montagov, Ju...
