My Top 10 Books of 2022

Image
Hi Lovelies!  Here are my 10 books that I've read last year, 2022. I had a good reading year. I've read 110 books conquering my 50 books goal. I've read a lot of contemporary romance books but I also read a couple thriller, mystery, fantasy, and classic books. I also got a lot of my recommendations from booktok, which made my TBR list longer.  What is your favorite read in 2022?  Please tell me below. December 2022 Wrap Up and Goodreads 2022 Year in Books

Hi Lovelies! I read 9 books last month. They are mostly contemporary books. I've read one self-help book, which is The Happiness Project and I read it throughout the year since the chapters divided into months. I am not going to lie but I didn't get to practice and follow the book. I also read Bad Days in History daily. It became a routine for me to read it before I start my day or before I go to bed.  I wasn't able to read during the last week of the month since I was on vacation in Hong Kong. But before the trip, I read 2 books from the Honeywood series. It's a series that is set in an amusement park and since I'll be going back to Disneyland again. I tried to contain my excitement by reading. I did enjoy the book. I like the concept but the romance part was lacking for me. I couldn't feel the connection between the couples.  Overall, 2022 was a good reading year for me. I definitely crushed my reading goal of 50 books by reading 110 books.  Here are links to ...

October 2022 Wrap Up

Hi Lovelies,  I read 10 books this month and I am halfway through my 11th book, Fall of Snow by Montana Fyre, which I am sure I am going to finish before the month is over. I had a Catharina Maura phase this month. Her books are amazing if you are looking for romance and smut books that are trope heavy. I cannot wait for the next book of the Wrong Bride.  I also read my longest book for this year, which is the Count of Monte Cristo. I was actually surprise because it a fast paced book and I find myself reading 200-300 pages a day. But my favorite book that I read this month would have to go to After I Do by Taylor Jenkins Reid.  What is your favorite read this month?  Please tell me below. October 2022 Haul and Favorites

This month I had to invest in office and school supplies. I got my old Macbook back in 2013 and it broke this year, which was so sad. My dad offered to get me another Macbook but I declined and asked for an Acer Aspire 5 instead, as Macbook is not compatible with my work and I need a laptop that I can use for hours with both school and work. I also got accessories for my study/work table such as a mouse pad, a laptop stand with a fan, and plastic organizers.  In terms of my favorites:  1. Wallflower Cafe - is a pet friendly cafe that I go to work as well as spend time with my dog. The food and coffee selections are great and the staff are super friendly.  2. Donuts is a staple comfort food for me and this Korean style donuts are a winner for me.  3. In terms of books, I am really loving The Count of Monte Cristo. Although it is a long book with 1000+ pages, the story has good pacing and there are no boring parts. I read 300+ pages in a day cause it was that good....
