When I first read the plot of this book I was like sign me up because this is the kind of story I like to read. And when I got my copy, I quickly devoured it in one sitting.
I was just so excited and what can I say Melissa Foster has done it again. She has given the world another sexy and romantic book for us to enjoy. I think that this is the BEST book that I have read from Melissa Foster. She has matured as a writer and it is evident in this book. The characters now, such as Addison and Jake, have more dimensions that I got to really know them after reading this book. Addison came from a comfortable upbringing thus her need to become independent and in order to do that she embarks on a camping trip for ten days alone. Her need to become independent clashes with Jake, since he wants to be with her but she does not want to become reliable to him and lose her sense of independence. I guess what drawn me to this book is Addison. I can relate to her so much especially her wanting to be independent. Growing up, I have been sheltered by my parents that I was being too dependent on them and because of that I decided to move away for college and try to live alone and independent. In a way, it is the same with Addison.
I only wish that the story would focus more on the rescuing part. I though that the story would be more about Addison getting lost and Jake trying to save her. But despite lacking in those kind of action, Melissa made up for it in the actions in the bed (which were so HOT!!!!). I would totally recommend this to anyone who wants to read romantic novels. And if you like Bella Andre and Kristan Higgins books I suggest trying this book and other of Melissa Foster's books because I am sure that you would enjoy them.
