October 2022 Wrap Up

Image
Hi Lovelies,  I read 10 books this month and I am halfway through my 11th book, Fall of Snow by Montana Fyre, which I am sure I am going to finish before the month is over. I had a Catharina Maura phase this month. Her books are amazing if you are looking for romance and smut books that are trope heavy. I cannot wait for the next book of the Wrong Bride.  I also read my longest book for this year, which is the Count of Monte Cristo. I was actually surprise because it a fast paced book and I find myself reading 200-300 pages a day. But my favorite book that I read this month would have to go to After I Do by Taylor Jenkins Reid.  What is your favorite read this month?  Please tell me below. October 2022 Haul and Favorites

This month I had to invest in office and school supplies. I got my old Macbook back in 2013 and it broke this year, which was so sad. My dad offered to get me another Macbook but I declined and asked for an Acer Aspire 5 instead, as Macbook is not compatible with my work and I need a laptop that I can use for hours with both school and work. I also got accessories for my study/work table such as a mouse pad, a laptop stand with a fan, and plastic organizers.  In terms of my favorites:  1. Wallflower Cafe - is a pet friendly cafe that I go to work as well as spend time with my dog. The food and coffee selections are great and the staff are super friendly.  2. Donuts is a staple comfort food for me and this Korean style donuts are a winner for me.  3. In terms of books, I am really loving The Count of Monte Cristo. Although it is a long book with 1000+ pages, the story has good pacing and there are no boring parts. I read 300+ pages in a day cause it was that good.  4. I also enjoyed wat

Halloween Book Recommendations

Hi Lovelies,  These are 3 books that I recommend to get into the Halloween spirit. Goosebumps is my introduction to the horror genre. Welcome of the Dead House is one of my favorite book from the series. I remember staying up at night with a flashlight sneaking to finish the book. While I recommend Home Before Dark by Riley Sager if you enjoy the series The Haunting of Hill House. I didn't expect the twists and I devour the book in one night as I just couldn't put it down.   Finally, the list is not complete without the Master of Horror Literature, Edgar Allan Poe. My favorites are The Cask of Amontillado, The Pit and the Pendulum, and The Masque of the Red Death What are your Halloween book recommendations?  Please tell me below. October 2022 To Be Read

This month I want to read these 3 books of different genres. I think the most difficult book that I have to read is The Count of Monte Cristo as it is a thick book. But the story is entertaining so I don't think I would have any difficulties.  What are you planning on reading this month?  Please tell me below.
