November is finally here and I cannot believe that in less than two months the year 2018 is finally coming to an end. In the month of October I read eight books and I feel like the book that I've read were either great or bad. Anyway here are the books that I have read in the past month... 1. Damaged by Martina Cole When the bodies of missing schoolgirls start turning up, former DCI Kate Burrows is dragged out of retirement. A new Grantley serial killer is in town and DCI Annie Carr turns to Kate for help. She welcomes the distraction from her home life with former gangster, Patrick Kelly, whose long lost son has turned up out of the blue, bringing trouble with him. It soon becomes clear the killer is on their doorstep and as the body count grows, Kate and Annie face a race against the clock. But they have no real leads ... and there's more to these murders than meets the eye. Can Kate take the killer down before another schoolgirl dies? My thoughts: I love

Halloween is fast approaching and it is the time wherein I love to read spooky and scary books. I just love reading with hot coffee during this festivities. I also watch horror movies in between reading. So, here is my book recommendation for Halloween. 1. The Dark Vault (The Archived #1-2.5)  by Victoria Schwab Imagine a place where the dead rest on shelves like books. Each body has a story to tell, a life seen in pictures only Librarians can read. Da first brought Mackenzie Bishop here four years ago, when she was twelve years old, frightened but determined to prove herself. Now Da is dead, and Mac has grown into what he once was: a ruthless Keeper, tasked with stopping often violent Histories from waking up and getting out. Because of her job, she lies to the people she loves, and she knows fear for what it is: a useful tool for staying alive. Being a Keeper isn't just dangerous

Robinson Publisher: Crown Publishing Group Release Date: March 20, 2012 Introduction:   In Why Nations Fail, the authors try to study what factor contributes in a country’s political and economical success or failure. Their main argument is that the emergence of prosperity and poverty correlates with man-made political and economic institutions. They tried to achieve this by functioning on two levels. First is differentiating between extractive and inclusive economic and political institutions. Second is their explanation for why inclusive institutions emerge in some parts of the world and not in others. Their theory is the link between inclusion economic and political institution and prosperity. According to both Acemoglu and Robinson, “states differ in in their economic success because of their different institutions, the rules influencing how the economy works,
