Evolving Perceptions

Hi lovelies! I am actually proud of my wrap up for this month. I did a Birthday readathon this month and I was able to read a lot of my books that have been in my TBR pile for a while such as Kingdom of Ash and The President is Missing. My goal for this month is to read 10 books and I did read 10 books. I wanted to really a lot of books this month especially since school have started and looking at the syllabus of my class I won't be have the time to read as much as I want. So moving on here are the books that I read:  1. A Flair for Flip Flops by Deborah Garner  I received a copy of this book in exchanged for an honest review.  I had a hard time getting into the story because it was the 5th book of a series and I usually want to read book one first but once I read past 50 pages I got hooked into the story. Big Bad Wolf Book Sale is world's biggest book sale with over 2 million books up for grabs. It is currently held at the World Trade Center in Pasay and it is open 24 hours everyday from February 16-24. Some of the proceeds will be donated to Gawad Kalinga for housing projects in Marawi and Bicol. Tips 1. Be sure to come at non-peak hour like early in the morning or late at night so that you can maximize your shopping experience and the place will be less crowded.  2. Wear comfortable shoes. The event is so big and you will be walking a lot.  3. Avoid tossing books all over the place and please return them to where you got them.  4. Yesterday was free comic book day and fully booked was having a sale so I said why not. I'm so proud of my self this time because I only bought a couple of books. I saw some books that I was interested with but I put them down because I want to only books that are in my books to buy list and buy only the number of books that I have finish reading. So for example last month I finished 5 books therefore I can buy 5 books this month. I do this to avoid over cluttering my tbr pile.  I am trying to get into collecting comic books and graphic novel, so what perfect time to start buying some during free comic book day.
