Hi Lovelies,  These are 3 books that I recommend to get into the Halloween spirit. Goosebumps is my introduction to the horror genre. Welcome of the Dead House is one of my favorite book from the series. I remember staying up at night with a flashlight sneaking to finish the book. While I recommend Home Before Dark by Riley Sager if you enjoy the series The Haunting of Hill House. I didn't expect the twists and I devour the book in one night as I just couldn't put it down.   Finally, the list is not complete without the Master of Horror Literature, Edgar Allan Poe. My favorites are The Cask of Amontillado, The Pit and the Pendulum, and The Masque of the Red Death What are your Halloween book recommendations?  Please tell me below. I know that it is already the last week of march and this haul is long overdue but I really wanted to show you my February haul because I was so proud of myself because all of the books that I've purchase were 60% off and I got them during the Powerbooks clearance sale. Two of them were even leather bound classics which costs a lot if it was not on sale. 1. Rogue Heroes: The History of SAS, Britain's special forces unit that sabotaged the Nazi's and changed the nature of the war by Ben Macintyre The incredible untold story of WWII s greatest secret fighting force, as told by our great modern master of wartime intrigue Britain's Special Air Service or SAS was the brainchild of David Stirling, a young, gadabout aristocrat whose aimlessness in early life belied a remarkable strategic mind. Where most of his colleagues looked at a battlefield map of World War II s African theater and saw a protracted struggle with Rommel s desert forces, Stirling saw an opportunity: g...

Halloween is fast approaching and it is the time wherein I love to read spooky and scary books. I just love reading with hot coffee during this festivities. I also watch horror movies in between reading. So, here is my book recommendation for Halloween. 1. The Dark Vault (The Archived #1-2.5)  by Victoria Schwab Imagine a place where the dead rest on shelves like books. Each body has a story to tell, a life seen in pictures only Librarians can read. The dead are called Histories, and the vast realm in which they rest is the Archive. Da first brought Mackenzie Bishop here four years ago, when she was twelve years old, frightened but determined to prove herself. Now Da is dead, and Mac has grown into what he once was: a ruthless Keeper, tasked with stopping often violent Histories from waking up and getting out. Because of her job, she lies to the people she loves, and she knows fear for what it is: a useful tool for staying alive. Being a Keeper isn't just dangerous...
