Evolving Perceptions

I love that she wrote a Harshaw Quote because he is my favorite charater. He is just funny and unique from the other characters in the books.  June 21, 2015 I went to Leigh Bardugo’s book signing event in National Bookstore, Glorietta 1. I was so excited for this event because I love the Grisha Trilogy. The politics in books were amazing. It shows inferiority and superiority between the characters, and it shows how power is being used. The darkling was a very interesting character because in the book he is seen as this superior person but at the same time he was also inferior. And with that resulted his wanting to overthrow the current monarch. We are also presented with character that you will love, like harshaw, zoya, mal, etc… And even though they are different from one another they connect and create a perfect harmony between one another. Plus, it has a little bit action, romance and comedy that is not overbearing and will keep the reader entertained. The world bu...

The first book I read in the month of may is at the top of the stack. While the last book I read is at the bottom. I have read a total of 22 books, which is the most book I've read in a month. And as compared to my April Wrap I'd say I did a pretty good job. I am also proud to have accomplished my May TBR challenge. 1. The Dark Divine - Bree Despain 2 stars  I like the concept of the plot but I did not like how it was delivered by the author. And the characterization was not appealing to me.  Goodreads 2. The Hardy Boys Graphic Novel #4: Malled 2 stars  It was not really exciting or as intriguing like to other Hardy Boys book I have read.  Goodreads 3. Trese #3: Mass Murder – Kajo Baldisimo 4 stars  I love how it tells us the origins of Alexandra Trese and how she become what see is right now.  Goodreads 4. Ready Player One – Ernest Cline 5 stars click the link for my full re...

I know that I am so late with my TBR list but it is because I was skeptical of doing one this month. I have a lot of books to read and I don't want to follow a list when I'm reading, since my preferences changes a lot so it hard for me to follow my TBR list. Than I realized that I have a lot of series that I want to start (like the heroes of olympus, throne of glass, etc) and I just want to finish all my stand alone novels and series/trilogies that I have not finished.  So the first pile is the books that I have already read this month. I won't go into detail since I'll be doing an end of the month wrap up of all the book I have read.   1. Unravel me by Tahereh Mafi - It's been in my goodreads to read bookshelf since 2012  2. Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo - The reason why I started this trilogy even though my goal is to read first my other series/trilogy is that Leigh Bardugo is having a book signing next month and I want to finish this trilogy bef...
