May Wrap Up

Image
The first book I read in the month of may is at the top of the stack. While the last book I read is at the bottom. I have read a total of 22 books, which is the most book I've read in a month. And as compared to my April Wrap I'd say I did a pretty good job. I am also proud to have accomplished my May TBR challenge. 1. The Dark Divine - Bree Despain 2 stars  I like the concept of the plot but I did not like how it was delivered by the author. And the characterization was not appealing to me.  Goodreads 2. The Hardy Boys Graphic Novel #4: Malled 2 stars  It was not really exciting or as intriguing like to other Hardy Boys book I have read.  Goodreads 3. Trese #3: Mass Murder – Kajo Baldisimo 4 stars  I love how it tells us the origins of Alexandra Trese and how she become what see is right now.  Goodreads 4. Ready Player One – Ernest Cline 5 stars click the link for my full re...

Book Haul (April 19, 2015)

I'm not going to lie but I did some major damage. All of the books I got are from fully booked since I have a discount card (10% off per book if you pay in cash and 5% if you pay in card). And most of the books I got where either fantasy, graphic novels or historical fiction. Disclaimer: This is not sponsored. 1. The curious incident of the dog in the night-time by Mark Haddon  *  I have already read the first 100 pages of this book and it is good so far. It is very interesting and I like the narration.  Plot    Christopher John Francis Boone knows all the countries of the world and their capitals and every prime number up to 7,057. He relates well to animals but has no understanding of human emotions. He cannot stand to be touched. And he detests the color yellow. Although gifted with a superbly logical brain, for fifteen-year-old Christopher everyday interactions and admonishments have little meaning. He lives on patterns, rules, an...
