Book Haul (April 19, 2015)
I'm not going to lie but I did some major damage. All of the books I got are from fully booked since I have a discount card (10% off per book if you pay in cash and 5% if you pay in card). And most of the books I got where either fantasy, graphic novels or historical fiction.

1. The curious incident of the dog in the night-time by Mark Haddon
* I have already read the first 100 pages of this book and it is good so far. It is very interesting and I like the narration.
Plot
Christopher John Francis Boone knows all the countries of the world and their capitals and every prime number up to 7,057. He relates well to animals but has no understanding of human emotions. He cannot stand to be touched. And he detests the color yellow.
Although gifted with a superbly logical brain, for fifteen-year-old Christopher everyday interactions and admonishments have little meaning. He lives on patterns, rules, and a diagram kept in his pocket. Then one day, a neighbor's dog, Wellington, is killed and his carefully constructive universe is threatened. Christopher sets out to solve the murder in the style of his favourite (logical) detective, Sherlock Holmes. What follows makes for a novel that is funny, poignant and fascinating in its portrayal of a person whose curse and blessing are a mind that perceives the world entirely literally.

3. Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
* I finally got a copy after searching for it in 4 fully booked stores. I wanted to read this because of abookutopia (from youtube) keeps raving about it.

* I was suppose to pick this to review for my final paper in introduction to literature class last year but I chose train man instead because of the writing style but I'm glad to finally got a copy of ready player one and read it soon.

5. Trese 3: Mass Murders by Budjette Tan
* I read the first two books for my literature class last year and It was so good. It's like buffy the vampire slayer/supernatural/CSI but with Filipino Folklore.

12 midnight at Metro Manila.
Try to remain calm if you suddenly spot a tikbalang speeding down EDSA or a manananggal swooping across the Makati skyline. While partying at the Fort, never ever let the enkanto at the bar buy you a drink.
Yet, there are deadlier things than walk the streets of this city.
One of them now demands blood and sacrifice.
When crime takes a turn for a weird, the police call Trese.
6. Scott Pilgrim 01 by Lee O' Halley
* I want to read this because the movie adaptation was awesome!

* The kid inside me is geeking out.
