Evolving Perceptions

The first book I read in the month of may is at the top of the stack. While the last book I read is at the bottom. I have read a total of 22 books, which is the most book I've read in a month. And as compared to my April Wrap I'd say I did a pretty good job. I am also proud to have accomplished my May TBR challenge. 1. The Dark Divine - Bree Despain 2 stars  I like the concept of the plot but I did not like how it was delivered by the author. And the characterization was not appealing to me.  Goodreads 2. The Hardy Boys Graphic Novel #4: Malled 2 stars  It was not really exciting or as intriguing like to other Hardy Boys book I have read.  Goodreads 3. Trese #3: Mass Murder – Kajo Baldisimo 4 stars  I love how it tells us the origins of Alexandra Trese and how she become what see is right now.  Goodreads 4. Ready Player One – Ernest Cline 5 stars click the link for my full re...

I know that I am so late with my TBR list but it is because I was skeptical of doing one this month. I have a lot of books to read and I don't want to follow a list when I'm reading, since my preferences changes a lot so it hard for me to follow my TBR list. Than I realized that I have a lot of series that I want to start (like the heroes of olympus, throne of glass, etc) and I just want to finish all my stand alone novels and series/trilogies that I have not finished.  So the first pile is the books that I have already read this month. I won't go into detail since I'll be doing an end of the month wrap up of all the book I have read.   1. Unravel me by Tahereh Mafi - It's been in my goodreads to read bookshelf since 2012  2. Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo - The reason why I started this trilogy even though my goal is to read first my other series/trilogy is that Leigh Bardugo is having a book signing next month and I want to finish this trilogy bef...

Yesterday was free comic book day and fully booked was having a sale so I said why not. I'm so proud of my self this time because I only bought a couple of books. I saw some books that I was interested with but I put them down because I want to only books that are in my books to buy list and buy only the number of books that I have finish reading. So for example last month I finished 5 books therefore I can buy 5 books this month. I do this to avoid over cluttering my tbr pile.  I am trying to get into collecting comic books and graphic novel, so what perfect time to start buying some during free comic book day. I bought got two comic books, which are Gambit's comic books. If you know me personally you would know that Gambit is my favorite super hero. He  has the ability to mentally create, control, and manipulate pure  kinetic energy  to his desire. He is also incredibly knowledgeable and skilled in  card-throwing , hand-to-hand combat, and the use of a...
